Building and paddling a skin-on-frame qajaq has opened up a new world to me. I will be forever grateful to Will and Dan for teaching me how to roll a qajaq the right way. They have been so generous with their time, enabling me to learn so much from them. I never knew how much fun I could have in a qajaq until I discovered Greenland-style kayaking. I should also thank Scott for arranging the qajaq building class at the Essex Shipbuilding Museum, by talking Brian Schulz into traveling back east again, and for introducing me to the Walden Qajaq Society.
